Our November meeting was held in-person and via Zoom. We reviewed MWNA’s past year and touched on activities ahead, re-elected Amy Cody as President and Diana Lubliner as Secretary, and introduced new At-Large Rep for Campbell, Alan Bricker. We spoke with officers from Campbell PD and San Jose PD, as well as reps for County Supervisor Susan Ellenberg and State Senator Dave Cortese.
Dr. Clover Codd discussed Moreland School District strengths and challenges, and she invited the community to participate in upcoming strategic planning sessions. Matt Vu outlined services available to seniors and caregivers through Sourcewise, and SJ’s Homelessness Response Team answered questions about the Overnight Warming Location operating at the West Valley Branch Library this winter.
