At our May meeting, we discussed issues related to neighborhood pets and learned about services provided by the Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority, San Jose Animal Care & Services, and Silicon Valley Pet Project. Concomitant with the meeting was the installation of two pet waste stations, which are part of a neighborhood Pet Waste & Litter Reduction Project done in partnership with the Moreland School District, and with support from Beautify SJ grant funds.
MWNA President Amy Cody provided an update on Beautify SJ grant activities, the El Paseo Mixed Use Signature Project and West SJ MTIP, and announced plans for an Open Garden event at Latimer School’s new garden on June 11, 2022.
