Please join us for the Moreland West Neighborhood Association’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 18 from 6:30-8 p.m. via Zoom. We’ll share community updates, discuss Moreland West NA plans and elect leadership for the coming year, and talk with Campbell and San Jose police officers.
During this month of Thanksgiving, our program focus will be on Homelessness & Housing. We’ll hear from Destination: Home, a nonprofit working to end and prevent homelessness in Santa Clara County. We’ll also learn about the work of nonprofit developer First Community Housing, which has built affordable housing projects throughout the Bay Area, including El Paseo Studios, a 98-unit single room occupancy apartment building located in Moreland West.
We’ll be electing VPs for Campbell and San Jose and a Treasurer to serve two-year terms. As an all-volunteer organization, Moreland West NA is always looking for neighbors interested in taking on an active leadership role.
