San Jose Vice-Mayor Chappie Jones presented MWNA President Amy Cody with a start-up grant of $500 which will go a long way to cover the costs of legally establishing the association, advertising our meetings, and hosting this ad-free space.

Campbell’s Officer Johnson and Agent Nunn with San Jose’s Officer Ledwith and Officer Perkins and Crime Prevention Specialist Mini Le updated us on crime and safety issues in the neighborhood. The most important take-away? Don’t leave anything of value in your car.

Campbell Councilmember Rich Waterman spoke about the coming changes to the city’s district elections as well as the challenging commercial real estate climate.
